This paper presents a laboratory scale technology for manufacturing composite with ballistic protection characteristics certain level of threat. The is made quadriaxial fabrics, four oriented substrates (0°/+45°/90°/-45°), which assumes from the start that fabric will have quasi-isotropic behavior. selected resin to bind layers two-component Biresin® CR82, hardener CH80-2 (supplied by Sika Group). implies cutting, laying-up process, maintenance in press, under load, at least 8 hours, natural aging during 7 days, and heat treatment, two stages, taking into account software used oven, 3 hours each, 60 °C. There were manufactured sets 8-layer panels 16-layer panels, checking narrow tolerance thickness set same number layers. process has repeatability, precision robustness. recipe making are original. was compliance norms safety health work, adequate protective equipment. test campaign aimed evaluate behavior action bullets 9 mm FMJ, firing specialized laboratory, method being one recommended standard EN 1522/2004. bullet average initial speed 373 m/s, distance 5 m (normal conditions).
